Job Information

We are currently advertising for a HGV2/ LGV2 Pallet driver for work in and around the Portsmouth area. This is ongoing/ADHOC role depending on candidate preference.

Pay rates for Class 2 Driver:

£13.00ph (PAYE) £15.00ph (UMBRELLA)
Overtime premiums of time and half after 10 hours.
Minimum 8 hours paid per shift.
Hours and days of work for the Class 2 Driver:

Monday to Friday only
07:30 starts minimum 8 hours per day. Finish times can change depending on traffic, routing etc.
Responsibilities for the HGV Class 2 Driver:

To operate an HGV2 vehicle, palletised delivery in & around PO/SO/GU areas.
Performing pre and post vehicle checks in accordance with company policy and reporting any defects found.
Handball required, drivers will be equipped with pump truck & tail lift
Following all company safety policies and procedures.
Requirements for the Class 2 Driver:

Cat C (Class 2 licence)
Clean licence is desired.
Digi Tacho card required.
Previous HGV2 experience desired but not essential. New pass drivers will be accepted.
Full CPC.
Good knowledge of driving rules and regulations.
PPE Required. Hi Vis vest and safety boots.
