The Best Connection is currently seeking to recruit a Sewing Machinist for a manufacturing company in Portsmouth, Hampshire.
Duties to include but not limited to:
Operating an industrial sewing machine
Cutting materials to the correct size
Quality checking products before dispatch
Following detailed instructions
Maintaining the equipment
Job requirements:
Ability to work to a deadline
Confident in operating a sewing machine
Previous experience in a similar role
The pay rate for this role is £11–12 per hour, depending on experience.
Hours of work are Monday to Friday, 0800–1600.
We are looking for an immediate start, this is an ongoing role with the potential to go permanent following a successful trial period.
