Insurance Underwriting Assistant
* Minimum of 6 months experience in any insurance role required
* A program of training and technical development will be provided.
* Salary to £28,000 + benefits package
* Hybrid working - Home & City office split
* Educated to A level standard preferred
A fantastic opportunity to join an insurance company that is part of one of the world's largest insurance groups with operations in over 40 global territories.
In this role you will be supporting the underwriting of UK and international property, casualty, and marine insurance covers.
You will be responsible for your own designated portfolio of policies (new business & renewals) and assume ownership of policy administration for pre and post bind, create policy documentation, endorsements and processing.
In addition, you will provide various support function to assist the day to day activity of the underwriters, examples include; claims reports, sanction check, renewal invitations, finance queries and data management.
Candidates will need to show at least 6 months work experience within the insurance sector, excellent attention to detail, good MS Excel skills and confident communications skills.
